How to opt out of Versium
- 1
Open the CCPA opt-out page
Go to versium.com/ccpa-opt-out, listed in Versium's California filing.
- 2
Submit the request
Use the web form on that page and give the details it asks for.
- 3
Or email the opt-out address
Write to optout@versium.com with enough detail to identify your record, such as your name and email address.
- 4
Or call
Versium's filing lists 1-800-395-0164 for opt-out requests.
Watch out for
- Versium's own filings list more than one privacy contact address; optout@versium.com is the one its California filing gives for opt-outs.
- Removal from Versium doesn't remove you from the other marketing databases that hold the same details.

Does it come back?
Versium doesn't publish a relisting policy. Marketing data is rebuilt from other sources, so repeat the request if mail or email returns.
Your rights
Versium is registered as a data broker in California, which gives California residents opt-out and deletion rights.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
