Watch out for
- 6sense is B2B: the record is usually tied to your work email and employer, so if you change jobs a new record can appear.
- A request to 6sense covers 6sense only, not other sales-data providers that hold your details.
- The privacy policy page and the privacy center are separate pages. Use the privacy center for the request.
Does it come back?
6sense doesn't publish a relisting policy. If you change employer or work email, check again.
Your rights
6sense Insights, Inc. is on the California data broker registry. For 2024 it reported 1,849 delete requests, 1,845 completed in full and 4 denied, with a median response of 1 day and a mean of 7 days. It also reported 528 opt-outs of sale or sharing.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.

Frequently asked
What does 6sense know about me?
6sense sells revenue and intent data to businesses, so what it holds is mostly work-related: your name, employer, role and business contact details. Its California registration says it doesn't collect precise geolocation or government ID numbers.
How long does 6sense take to remove me?
In its California filing, 6sense reported a median of 1 day and a mean of 7 days to respond to delete requests in 2024.
Should I opt out or ask for deletion?
Deletion removes the record. An opt-out of processing asks 6sense to stop using it. If you don't want to be in the database, ask for deletion.
Is there a phone number?
Yes. The California registration lists (415) 212-9225.
