How to opt out of AGR Marketing Solutions

  1. 1

    Open the privacy policy

Go to AGR's privacy policy. The opt-out form sits in the opt-out section. The contact page links to the same form.

  2. 2

    Fill in the form

AGR says the details you submit let it do a thorough removal of your information across all of its databases.

  3. 3

    Or email

Write to contact@agrmarketingsolutions.com to ask for access, correction, deletion or an opt-out. AGR may verify your identity first.

  4. 4

    Use a browser signal

AGR says its websites honor Global Privacy Control as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing.

  5. 5

    California: use DROP

California residents can file through the state's DROP platform at privacy.ca.gov. AGR says it processes DROP deletion requests.

Watch out for

  • AGR says it confirms receipt within 10 business days and responds within 45 calendar days.
  • AGR says it collects, licenses and sells consumer data as part of its business.
  • The form asks for personal details so AGR can find your records.

Does it come back?

AGR doesn't publish a relisting policy. If you want to stay off its lists, the Global Privacy Control signal and the California DROP platform both give a standing request.

Your rights

California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.

California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.

Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
