How to opt out of Coresignal
- 1
Open the opt-out notice
Go to coresignal.com/privacy-rights. The page is titled Notice of the Right to Opt-Out.
- 2
Fill in the web form
The form is at the bottom of that page.
- 3
Or email instead
The page gives a privacy email address. Include your name, surname, email address and the URL of your public LinkedIn profile, and say whether you're a US or non-US resident.
- 4
Verify by email
After a web submission the page says to check your inbox to verify the opt-out request. Click the link there.
- 5
Authorized agents
An agent can file for you if you give them written permission and they send a copy of it to Coresignal. Without proof, Coresignal says it may deny the request.
Watch out for
- The opt-out asks Coresignal to stop selling your public data. The page frames it as checking whether your data was collected and directing Coresignal to stop selling it.
- The request is keyed to your public LinkedIn URL, so a person with no public profile has nothing to point at.
