How to opt out of FirmFuel
- 1
Email privacy@firmfuel.com
Say whether you want your data deleted or want to opt out of its sale or sharing. Add the website you used and the email address you registered with, which is what FirmFuel's policy asks Nevada residents to include and which gives it something to search on.

Call or mail
1-800-238-3171, or FirmFuel, 19900 MacArthur Blvd, #190, Irvine, CA 92626.

Wait up to 30 days
Save your sent email.
Watch out for
- FirmFuel passes what you type into a legal-help form to law firms it works with. A request to FirmFuel doesn't reach those firms.
- The policy's email links point at benefitsbunny.com, not the firmfuel.com address printed beside them. If nothing comes back from privacy@firmfuel.com, use the phone number or the mailing address.

Does it come back?
FirmFuel doesn't publish a relisting policy. If you fill in one of its forms again, you can end up back in its data.
Your rights
The policy describes opt-out rights under the privacy laws of six states, among them California and Nevada, including opting out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
