How to remove yourself from ReversePhone
Also known as BeenVerified, LLC and its subsidiaries and affiliates
ReversePhone belongs to BeenVerified's family of sites, and BeenVerified's California registry entry points privacy requests to its own opt-out page. That page is free to use, according to BeenVerified's help center. ReversePhone doesn't state how long a removal takes.

How to opt out of ReversePhone
- 1
Open the opt-out page
Go to BeenVerified's opt-out page. It's the privacy-rights page named in the registry entry that lists reversephone.com.
- 2
Find and select your record
Search for yourself and choose the listing you want removed. BeenVerified's help center says its online process removes one record per request.
- 3
Confirm by email
BeenVerified emails you a verification link. Click it so the request goes through.
- 4
Write in for anything else
For extra records or a listing that stays up, email privacy@ltvco.com, the contact address in BeenVerified's California registry entry. Give your name and the page where you appear.
Watch out for
- BeenVerified's own help center says a data partner can send a new record it can't match to your opted-out one, such as a different spelling or address, and that creates a fresh listing.
- The registry names ReversePhone among a dozen sites run by the same company, but BeenVerified doesn't say one opt-out clears all of them.

These are run by the same company. Removing yourself from ReversePhone doesn't remove you from them, so check each one.
Does it come back?
ReversePhone doesn't publish a relisting policy. BeenVerified says its database updates at least monthly, so search your name and number again after a few weeks.
Your rights
BeenVerified, LLC is on the California data broker registry. California residents can also file one deletion request with every registered broker through the state's DROP platform, which brokers have been processing since August 1, 2026.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
