How to remove yourself from Datafy
Datafy handles privacy requests through one form at datafy.com/opt-out. It needs your phone's advertising ID to find your data, so grab that first, then choose opt out, access, correction, limit or deletion.

How to opt out of Datafy
- 1
Get your phone's advertising ID
Datafy matches people by Mobile Advertising ID and says it can't match your data without one. On Android, go to Settings, then Privacy, then Ads. Apple doesn't show the ID to users, so Datafy points iPhone owners to a third-party app that displays it.
- 2
Open the Personal Data Rights Request form
Go to datafy.com/opt-out. You can opt out of sale or targeted-advertising use, ask for a report covering the past 12 months, correct your data, limit its use or request deletion.
- 3
Fill in the required fields
They exist to verify it's you. No verification, no action. The optional fields can help Datafy match you, so add them if you're comfortable.
- 4
Keep the request ID
A separate status page takes it.
Watch out for
- Without the advertising ID, Datafy says it can't match your personal data, so the request goes nowhere.
- The ID you submit covers one device. A second phone, or an ID you've reset, needs its own request.
What Datafy holds about you
- Full name and aliases
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Age and date of birth
What Datafy is known to collect, not a check of your listing.
Does it come back?
Datafy doesn't publish a policy on data reappearing. Resetting your advertising ID gives your device a new one that the original request won't cover.
Your rights
Datafy is on California's data broker registry and lists the same rights its form offers.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
