How to opt out of Endato
- 1
Open the Enformion privacy portal
Endato has no portal of its own. Requests go through Enformion's, which also runs Tracers, and you choose Right to Opt-out (Do Not Sell) or Right to Delete from the request types listed there.
- 2
Enter your name and email
Solve the reCAPTCHA and submit.
- 3
Click the link in the email
It expires after 24 hours, so do it the same day, then fill in the form with the name, address and phone number as your listing shows them.
- 4
Wait for confirmation
A confirmation page and an email follow. The portal says removal can take up to 3 days.
Watch out for
- The emailed link expires after 24 hours. If it lapses, you start the request again.
- One portal covers Enformion and Tracers too, so you file once instead of per site.
- Enformion says it isn't a consumer reporting agency, so its data can't be used for credit, insurance, housing or employment decisions.

Does it come back?
Enformion's portal doesn't say whether a removed record can come back. Search for your name on Endato again a few weeks after the request and after you move.
Your rights
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
