How to opt out of MarketOps
- 1
Open the Privacy Options page
Go to marketops.com/privacy-options in the browser and on the device you want covered. The page works through cookies, so the browser you use matters.
- 2
Choose how far you want to go
"Anonymous" lets MarketOps keep logging general activity on its website but stops it collecting what you type into forms and boxes. "Complete Opt-Out" disables all use of your information from its websites and platform.
- 3
Click the link for your choice
Each option is a link on the page. Click "Be Anonymous" or the Complete Opt-Out link and the setting is saved to that browser.
- 4
Do it again on every other browser and device
MarketOps says deleting its cookie means you need to repeat the process. Phones have their own route: it points to Apple's and Google's ad settings.
- 5
Ask for your consumer file if you want to see what it holds
Call 844-446-4440 ext 3, email privacy@marketops.com or use the form linked on the page to request a copy.
Watch out for
- The opt-out lives in a cookie, so clearing cookies or switching browser undoes it.
- MarketOps records that a Complete Opt-Out was made so it can count total opt-outs.
- The email address on the page is listed for requesting your consumer file, not for opt-outs.

Does it come back?
MarketOps stores your opt-out in a cookie for the browser you used. If you delete that cookie, MarketOps says you need to repeat the process, so check again after clearing browser data.
Your rights
MarketOps is on California's data broker registry. California residents can also use CCPA rights to know and to delete.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
