How to remove yourself from Cardlytics
Cardlytics runs card-linked offers inside your bank's app, so there's no Cardlytics profile to delete. You opt out through your bank (its publishing partner), and that also opts you out of Cardlytics' other programs. Cardlytics lists privacy@cardlytics.com for questions.

How to opt out of Cardlytics
- 1
Find the offers setting at your bank
Cardlytics says every publishing partner's opt-out feature is slightly different. Look in your bank's website or app settings for card-linked offers or rewards, or ask the bank.
- 2
Switch the program off
Opting out of a Cardlytics card-linked marketing program there also opts you out of Cardlytics' other programs and products.
- 3
Email privacy@cardlytics.com if you want more than that
The policy has state sections on access and deletion rights, and lists privacy@cardlytics.com among its contacts. Name your state and what you want done.
Watch out for
- Cardlytics doesn't take the opt-out itself for card programs. If you've left a bank, ask that bank, not Cardlytics.
- The policy says its corporate affiliates have their own privacy policies, so an opt-out here doesn't cover their products.

Does it come back?
Cardlytics doesn't publish a relisting policy. A new bank account or card that offers the program starts the data flow again until you opt out at that bank.
Your rights
Cardlytics' policy has separate sections for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and a long list of other states, plus a GDPR section.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
