How to opt out of DTN
- 1
Start at the request page
DTN's California page is dtn.com/ccpa. Use it for an access, deletion or do-not-sell request.
- 2
Or email legal@dtn.com
That address is DTN's contact in its California registry entry. Say which right you want to use and include the name and email you used with DTN.
- 3
Call if you'd rather talk
DTN's privacy page lists a phone line, 1-800-485-4000, and a postal route through its privacy contact in Utrecht.

Wait up to 30 days
DTN's privacy statement says it aims to respond within 30 days from the date it receives a privacy communication, and that its Legal Department gets a copy of each one.
Watch out for
- DTN is a business data company, so what it holds on you is usually your contact details from an account, a subscription or a business relationship.
- In California it complied in whole with 16 of 6,218 deletion requests in 2024 and denied 6,202. DTN doesn't explain the gap on the pages it publishes, so expect that a deletion may be declined.
- The privacy statement covers dtn.com, dtnpf.com, mydtn.com and the other DTN sites, with different DTN companies acting as the controller depending on where you are.

Your rights
In the EU and UK, DTN's contact person for privacy questions is also its appointed Data Protection Officer: DTN International B.V., P.O. Box 24092, 3502 MB Utrecht.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
United Kingdom: UK GDPR. You can ask any company to erase your personal data and to stop using it for direct marketing. It has one month to respond. If it doesn't, you can complain to the ICO.
European Union: GDPR. You have the right to have your personal data erased and to object to its use for direct marketing. Companies must respond within one month, and you can complain to your national data protection authority if they don't.
