How to remove yourself from Cint

Cint is a survey and research marketplace. California residents can opt out of the sale of their data with the form on Cint's CCPA page or by calling +1-888-975-1805. Cint says it may ask for an email address and postal code to verify you. Survey panel members deal with their own panel provider.

How to opt out of Cint

  1. 1

    Open Cint's CCPA page

Go to cint.com/ccpa. It has the opt-out form for California residents and a phone number, +1-888-975-1805, if you'd rather call.

  2. 2

    Submit the opt-out request

Fill in the form. Cint says it may ask for details such as your email address and postal code to verify the request.

  3. 3

Use the footer link or browser signal as well

Cint's website carries a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link. Cint's privacy notice says it treats a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing where the law requires it, so switching GPC on in your browser covers that site visit.

  4. 4

Use an authorized agent if you prefer

Cint's CCPA page allows requests through an authorized agent. Expect Cint to verify the request.

Watch out for

  • Cint's privacy notice says it doesn't sell personal information for money but may share it with advertising or analytics partners, which California law counts as "sharing". The opt-out covers both.
  • If you joined a survey through a panel, the panel company that invited you holds that account, so cancel or delete there.

Does it come back?

Cint doesn't publish a relisting policy. Opt-outs on cookies and tracking are per browser, so repeat them if you clear cookies or switch devices.
