How to opt out of Bizarchive
- 1
Find your listing
Search for the business or your name on bizarchive.com and open the listing page. Copy its address from the browser.
- 2
Open the removal tool
Use the Edit or Remove link at the top of the listing, or go to bizarchive.com/removal. Bizarchive's contact page describes this tool as the way to take a record off the site.
- 3
Submit the request
Fill in the required fields and submit. The removal route is one request per listing.
- 4
Confirm by email
A confirmation link is sent to the email you give, so use an inbox you can open now. Click it to finish the request.
- 5
Check the listing later
AllBiz's removal page says removal may take up to 72 hours. Search again after that.
Watch out for
- Bizarchive says it is run by AllBiz, and AllBiz has its own removal page, so check both sites if you are listed on both.
- Bizarchive says it sometimes removes active businesses that haven't turned up in recent data, so a listing can also vanish without a request.
- The removal tool is separate from an opt-out of your personal information from other sources.

Your rights
Bizarchive offers the removal tool to everyone, so you don't need to live in a state with a privacy law.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
