How to opt out of Alliant
- 1
Open Alliant's privacy policy
Go to alliantinsight.com/alliant-privacy-policy. The policy tells you to make an opt-out request with Alliant using its form.
- 2
Submit the opt-out form
Fill in the form for the request you want. Alliant's data products policy lists the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, or its use for targeted advertising.
- 3
Or call
The data products policy lists (833) 926-0701 as a phone route for these requests.
- 4
Turn on Global Privacy Control
Alliant says it recognizes opt-out preferences sent through the Global Privacy Control, but only for sales, sharing and targeted advertising through its own websites.
- 5
Repeat the cookie toggle per device
The cookie control on Alliant's site only applies to the device and browser you set it on, so repeat it on each one you use.
Watch out for
- The website policy and the data products policy point to different request routes, so use the form linked from the policy you are reading.
- Opting out may not stop ads from campaigns that are already running.
- Prescreened credit offers have their own opt-out, handled through Alliant's Consumer Credit FCRA privacy policy. Alliant says about 6% of its data activity falls under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- An authorized agent has to use Alliant's separate agent form, sent to compliance@alliantdata.com or by mail to 301 Fields Lane, Brewster, NY 10509.

Your rights
Alliant is registered as a data broker in California. Its 2024 filing reports 73,023 delete requests, with a 1-day mean and median response.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
