Oracle's privacy pages say it no longer provides Oracle Advertising services and solutions as of September 30, 2024, and that the opt-out tool is retired for that reason.
Watch out for
- Oracle says the Oracle Advertising opt-out tool is no longer available, because the advertising business was shut down.
- An August 2024 Oracle end-of-life FAQ said you don't need to ask Oracle to delete your data. Oracle said it would keep data under contract terms and then delete it once remaining obligations are met.
- Older Oracle policies said opt-out records were kept for 20 years. Oracle's pages we cite don't say whether that still applies.
