How to opt out of EproDirect
- 1
Open the Do Not Sell My Information page
It's linked in the footer of eprodirect.com. The same form covers three things: opt-out of sale or rental, access to your information, and deletion.
- 2
Pick what you want
For a person who just wants off the list, that means the opt-out and the deletion request. Submit both if you want the data gone, not only the sale stopped.
- 3
Fill in the web form
EproDirect asks you to complete the form with the details it needs to find your record. Use the email address that receives its marketing mail.
- 4
Call instead if the form fails
The page lists 561-417-5513 for people who don't want to use the form. Questions about the form itself go to team@eprodirect.com.
Watch out for
- The page is written for California residents and says Texas residents can use it as well, because EproDirect is a data broker under Texas law. It doesn't say what happens if you live elsewhere.
- EproDirect's privacy policy dates from January 2020, so the Do Not Sell page is the current route rather than the policy.

Does it come back?
EproDirect doesn't publish a relisting policy. Marketing lists get refreshed from other sources, so check your inbox over the next few months and file again if its mail returns.
Your rights
The form cites the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) rights to opt out of sale or rental, to access your information and to delete it. EproDirect also states it is a data broker registered under Texas law, and Texas residents can use the same form.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.

Frequently asked
What does EproDirect do with my data?
It runs email marketing to meeting planners for the hospitality industry, so it holds business contact details of people in that line of work.
Is EproDirect a data broker?
The company says so itself on its Do Not Sell page, in the context of Texas law.
Can I opt out by phone?
Yes. The page gives 561-417-5513 as an alternative to the web form.
Does unsubscribing from its emails remove me?
EproDirect doesn't say. The Do Not Sell form is the route it names for opt-out of sale and deletion, so use it as well as any unsubscribe link.
