How to remove yourself from Eyeota
Eyeota is an ad-targeting data platform, so there's no profile to find. Use its data subject request form to ask for deletion, or to stop it building an ad ID from a hashed copy of your email. Eyeota asks you to allow 30 days.

How to opt out of Eyeota
- 1
Start from the data subject request page
Open eyeota.com/data-subject-request. The same form covers seeing your data, getting a copy, deleting it, updating contact details and unsubscribing from Eyeota's marketing.
- 2
Say what you want done
Pick deletion if you want your data gone. The form also has an option to stop Eyeota using a hashed version of your email address to create a pseudonymous user ID for ad targeting or profiling.
- 3
Submit the form and wait
Eyeota asks you to allow 30 days. For requests about its data platform, it replies with instructions for finding its cookies in your browser and says what it needs to authenticate you.
- 4
Use the other route if a form isn't for you
Eyeota's California registry entry lists privacy@eyeota.com, and the form page shows a phone line, 1-866-I-OPT-OUT, with service code 714.
Watch out for
- Deleting your data doesn't touch the ads you see. The form page points to a separate opt-out page, [eyeota.com/how-to-opt-out](https://www.eyeota.com/how-to-opt-out), for cookie, profiling and sale or sharing choices.
- If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the Eyeota site switches off its non-required cookies and stops sale or sharing through them. The form is still the route for deletion.
- California residents can send a deletion request through an authorized agent, and Eyeota asks the agent to show they have your permission.

Does it come back?
Eyeota doesn't publish a relisting policy. A hashed email can be turned into a new ad ID later if the address shows up in data Eyeota receives, so keep your browser's privacy signals on after you submit.
