How to remove yourself from Thryv Holdings, Inc.
Thryv's opt-out is a button on its CCPA page that stops the sale or sharing of data collected through thryv.com. It's saved in a browser cookie, so clearing cookies undoes it. Thryv also has a separate Directory Opt-Out link in its footer.

Open Thryv's CCPA page
Go to thryv.com/privacy-ccpa. The same "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link sits in the footer of every Thryv page.
- 2
Click the Do Not Sell or Share button
The page then says you have been opted out of the sale of data collected through thryv.com.
- 3
Keep your cookies
Thryv says the button stores your choice in browser cookies. If you clear or delete them, click the button again.
- 4
Read the privacy policy for resale by ad networks
Thryv says its Privacy Policy explains how to opt out of resale by the digital advertising networks it uses.
Watch out for
- The button covers data collected through thryv.com or the app you're on. It isn't an account-wide deletion.
- If the button isn't active, Thryv says either you've already opted out or it doesn't sell or share data collected there.
- The footer also lists a separate "Directory Opt-Out" link and "Cookie Settings". Thryv's CCPA page doesn't say what the directory opt-out covers.
Does it come back?
Thryv doesn't publish a relisting policy. The cookie-based opt-out lapses when you clear cookies or switch browsers.
Your rights
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
Australia: Privacy Act. You can tell a company to stop using your information for direct marketing and ask it to correct what it holds. If it doesn't act, you can complain to the OAIC.
