How to opt out of FaceCheck.ID

Open the removal page
Go to RemoveMyPhotos. It's free.

Find your face and select the images
Find your face in the results and select the images you want removed.

Verify with a selfie
Start the selfie capture. FaceCheck.ID says most selfie requests are approved instantly and your photos are deleted right away.

Or upload an anonymized ID
If you can't take a selfie, upload an anonymized ID document instead. This needs manual review, and FaceCheck.ID says verification can take 1 to 5 business days.

Remove the original copies
Removal from FaceCheck.ID doesn't touch the sites that host your photos. Contact them too.
Watch out for
- Photos are hidden at once, even while an ID check is pending.
- Once approved, FaceCheck.ID says your photos and your uploaded document are permanently deleted.
- Copies can persist on the original websites and on archived pages, and those need separate requests.
- Each face search engine needs its own request.
