How to remove yourself from Lotame
Lotame is an ad-data company, not a people-search site. Its California registry entry lists a Privacy Manager for opt-outs, and its privacy page offers a browser opt-out cookie. Lotame says processing can take several hours, and a Panorama ID can take up to 7 days to expire.

Go to Lotame's Privacy Manager, the opt-out route given in its California data broker registry entry.
- 2
Submit your opt-out
Use the page to send the request.
- 3
Set the browser opt-out as well
Lotame's privacy rights page says that in a browser that accepts third-party cookies it sets a non-unique opt-out cookie in the crwdcntrl.net domain to store your choice.
- 4
Wait for it to process
Lotame says it may take several hours for an opt-out to be fully processed, and up to 7 days for a previously set Panorama ID to expire.
Watch out for
- Lotame's page warns that if you delete the opt-out cookie, or all your cookies, you are no longer opted out and need to opt out again.
- The cookie opt-out only applies to the browser where you set it. Repeat it on each browser and device you use.

Does it come back?
Lotame doesn't publish a relisting policy. Because the cookie opt-out disappears when you clear cookies, check back after you do.
