How to opt out of SeekOut
- 1
Open the Privacy Choices Portal
Go to seekout.com/privacy/choices. The form there handles requests about your personal information, deletion included.
- 2
Choose deletion and read the warning
SeekOut states that all requests for deletion are permanent, so check that you want the profile gone before you send anything.
- 3
Submit the request
Fill in the form and send it. SeekOut's registry filing reports a typical answer time of 31 days for deletion requests.
Watch out for
- Deletion is permanent. SeekOut says so on the form page, so there is no undoing it later.
- The legal@seekout.com address comes from SeekOut's California registry entry as its contact. The portal is the route SeekOut points people to.
Does it come back?
SeekOut doesn't publish a relisting policy. Because the company builds profiles for recruiters, check again in a few months and resubmit through the portal if a profile has reappeared.
Your rights
SeekOut is on the California data broker registry as ZipStorm, Inc. (dba SeekOut), which gives California residents the right to delete under the CCPA and the Delete Act.
