- 1
Open the opt-out page
Go to aristotle.com/privacy/do-not-sell-my-personal-info.
- 2
Submit the request
California residents file an online opt-out request covering the information in their data privacy disclosure.
- 3
Or use another route
The FAQ says you can also submit by mail, and Aristotle lists a phone line at 888-217-9600 for data requests.

Wait up to 45 days
Aristotle says processing takes that long.
Watch out for
- There is no way to opt out of selling specific pieces of information. An opt-out covers all non-public information on your disclosure that the CCPA covers.
- Some data may be exempt. Official voter file information is the example Aristotle gives.
- Aristotle warns that opting out may limit your involvement in political speech, debate and communications.
- Aristotle's older FAQ says the opt-out isn't available outside California, while its newer policy says Nevada residents can submit a verified opt-out.

Your rights
Aristotle's policy gives California residents the right to opt out of sale, and says Nevada residents can submit a verified opt-out request. Covered law enforcement and judicial personnel have a separate Daniel's Law opt-out form on its site.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
