How to remove yourself from CallApp Software Ltd.
Also known as CallApp
CallApp is a caller ID app with a searchable contact book. You can unlist your phone number on its unlist page by entering the number with its country code, and CallApp confirms by email. Unlisting stops CallApp searches for your name and number, but CallApp keeps the data for up to 5 years.

To delete rather than unlist, ask for deletion

Watch out for
- Unlisting isn't deletion. CallApp's privacy policy says it keeps the information, including collected information, for up to 5 years after you unlist, then deletes or anonymizes it.
- CallApp says your details may still be available through public resources outside its control, so other directories can keep showing your number.
- A backup copy from automated archive systems may remain after a deletion request, and CallApp can keep information it's legally required to hold.

No. CallApp stops searches for the unlisted name and number but keeps the information for up to 5 years, according to its privacy policy.
