How to opt out of LawLink
- 1
Log in to LawLink
Use the account tied to your profile. No account? Skip to the email step.
- 2
Select delete profile
LawLink's policy says users can delete their profile by logging in and choosing the delete-profile option, "if available".
- 3
Email info@lawlink.com for anything left over
If you can't log in, or the option isn't there, write to info@lawlink.com. The policy names it for requests about your account or information, and LawLink may ask you to verify your identity first.
Watch out for
- LawLink keeps some records after deletion when it needs them for legal or compliance reasons. It says transaction records and backup copies can stay longer.
- Unsubscribing from marketing email is separate: use the link in the email or write to info@lawlink.com. Billing and security notices can still arrive.

Does it come back?
LawLink doesn't publish a relisting policy. A deleted profile only comes back if someone creates a new one, so search for your name on LawLink every so often.
Your rights
LawLink's policy has a California privacy notice. California residents can ask about the personal information it holds by writing to info@lawlink.com, subject to exemptions for records it has to keep.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
