How to opt out of Cybba
- 1
Open Cybba's privacy request form
The form is hosted on OneTrust, a privacy-request platform, and is the route listed in Cybba's California registry filing.
- 2
Choose between opting out and deleting
Opting out of sale or sharing and asking for deletion are separate requests. Make both if you want both.
- 3
Confirm by email
Cybba verifies requests by email, so use an address you can open now and check spam for the confirmation.
- 4
Write to privacy@cybba.com if the form won't submit
Name the request, give the email address you want it tied to, and keep a copy of what you sent.
Watch out for
- Cybba doesn't hold a profile you can search. It matches on identifiers such as email, so the address you use in the request matters.
- Its registry entry says it collects precise geolocation.
- Of 247 opt-out-of-sale requests in its 2024 registry numbers, 41 were denied, so a request can be turned down if Cybba can't match it.

Your rights
Cybba is on California's data broker registry. For 2024 it reported a mean of 18 days and a median of 16 days to respond to deletion requests, and the same figures for opt-out requests.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
