How to opt out of AWL
- 1
Open the privacy request portal
AWL's California data broker registration gives this portal as the place to exercise privacy rights. It is the link in the opt-out field.
- 2
Choose the request type
If the portal offers an opt-out of sale or sharing, choose it as well as deletion.
- 3
Submit your details
Use the name, email or phone number AWL is likely to hold. That helps it find you.
- 4
Follow up by email or phone if the portal fails
The registry lists onlineops@awl.com and (888) 522-7355. The privacy policy at awl.com/privacy is the stable page to check for the current route.

Watch out for
- AWL's California registry entry reports that it denied all 139 deletion requests it received in 2024 and replied to them in a median of 1 day. Ask for an opt-out of sale or sharing as well as deletion.
- It also reports 14 requests to know, 11 of them met in full.
- The 'Limit / Do Not Sell / Do Not Share' link on awl.com leads to dnc.allwebleads.com/Unsubscribe. That page was down when last read.
Does it come back?
AWL doesn't publish a relisting policy. If you fill in an insurance quote form on one of its sites again, your details can enter its leads again.
Your rights
AWL is on California's data broker registry, so California residents can use CCPA rights to know, delete and opt out.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
