How to opt out of AnyWho
- 1
Find your AnyWho listing
Search your name on anywho.com and note what the listing shows, so you can match it later.
- 2
Open Spokeo's privacy controls
Spokeo, Inc.'s California registry filing lists anywho.com among its sites and points to spokeo.com/privacy/control/all-categories and its privacy policy for exercising your rights.
- 3
Submit your request
Complete the request on that page for your listing. Spokeo's own listing opt-out form is at spokeo.com/optout.
- 4
Check the listing
Search AnyWho again after a few days. If your listing is still there, repeat the request.
Watch out for
- AnyWho shares an operator with Spokeo's other sites, and one request may not cover all of them. Search each one.
- Older guides say AnyWho is run by PeopleConnect and send you to its suppression center. The California registry names Spokeo, Inc. as the operator.

Your rights
Spokeo, Inc. is on the California data broker registry, with AnyWho.com listed under its DBAs.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
