Tap Profile in the TikTok app.

Tap Menu, then Settings and privacy.

Tap Privacy, then Location Services.

Turn off precise location on your phone
Where precise location is available, you turn it on or off through your device's Location Services, not inside TikTok. Change it for TikTok in your phone's settings.

Delete certain location data
The same Location Services menu has a Delete certain location data option.

- Even with Location Services off, TikTok estimates approximate location from device or network information such as SIM card region, IP address and device system settings.
- Precise location is a device-level setting, so the switch lives in your phone's settings.
What stays out there
Closing your location setting stops new data from piling up at that one company. It doesn't reach copies that people-search sites and data brokers already hold, or old search results that point to them. A phone number or home address tied to your name can sit in people-search listings no matter what your phone shares with TikTok.
