Finish or wait out any trips
Expedia Group says that if you're on a trip or have upcoming trips attached to the account, you need to wait until they're completed before you can request deletion.

Sign in to your account
Sign in on the Expedia website with the account you want to delete.

Open My profile
Select your name, then My profile.

Go to Settings
Select Settings, then find the Account Management section.

Select Delete Account
Select Delete Account and go through the prompts to confirm. The help page says deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
Watch out for
- Deletion is permanent. Once the account is gone, you and Customer Support lose access to your historic booking information, so support can't help with past bookings.
- If you joined One Key, you have one account across Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. Deleting it removes everything on all of them.
- Trips in progress or booked for later block the request until they're completed.
- Save any confirmations or itineraries you may need for expenses or disputes before you delete.

What stays out there
Deleting your Expedia account stops new data being collected under that login. It doesn't reach copies of your details that data brokers and people-search sites already hold, like an address picked up from public records.
