Finish open orders
AliExpress's deletion check looks at open orders. Wait for them to arrive and be confirmed, or resolve them first.

Close return, refund and installment items
Open return or refund requests and installment payments also have to be finished before the account can go.

Cancel any VIP membership
VIP cancellations are part of the same check, so cancel before you start.

Reactivate the account if it's disabled
AliExpress says a disabled account must be reactivated before it can be deleted.

Log in and choose delete account
Log in and click delete account. The system check then confirms the account is ready to go.

Verify if asked
Account verification can be triggered during deletion. Some payment methods, such as PayPal or virtual cards, can't be used to verify.
Watch out for
- Deletion is irreversible, so save order history, invoices and anything you need as proof of purchase first.
- Open orders, return or refund requests, installment payments and VIP cancellations all block deletion until they're finished.
- A disabled account has to be reactivated before it can be deleted.

What stays out there
Deleting the account ends your relationship with AliExpress. It doesn't remove your name, address and phone number from other places. Delivery addresses and phone numbers from online orders can end up with data brokers and on people-search sites.
