Cancel your subscription first
Deleting or suspending doesn't automatically stop billing. If you paid through the App Store, cancel in Settings, your name, Subscriptions. For Google Play, use Payments & subscriptions in the Play Store.

Open Settings on a computer
Click the arrow at the top right next to your profile photo, then click Settings.

Go to Manage account
Click Manage account, then Delete account.

Follow the instructions
Complete the prompts. Match's UK FAQ says your profile will disappear within 24 hours.
Watch out for
- Deleting is permanent. Match's help center says your matches, messages and profile information are removed.
- Cancelling and deleting are separate. Deleting doesn't end an active subscription.
- Match's help pages differ on whether you can delete from the Android app and on the exact menu names, so the computer route is the safest one.
- A renewal can be cancelled at the earliest 24 hours after purchase and up to 48 hours before the renewal date.

Suspend instead of deleting
You can suspend your profile to hide it. Suspended accounts are treated as inactive and closed automatically after 2 years, unless a subscription is still active.
What stays out there
Deleting your Match profile removes it from the dating site. That stops new data at that one company. It doesn't touch copies that data brokers, people-search sites and old search results already hold, such as a name, age and photo that were scraped or reposted, and an email or phone number that ended up in marketing lists.
