Open the Hinge app, tap your photo icon, tap the gear icon, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account, then follow the prompts. Uninstalling the app doesn't close your account. A subscription bought through Hinge is cancelled when you delete.

Sign in to the Hinge app
Open the app on your phone and sign in.

Tap your photo icon
Tap the photo icon, then the gear icon to open Account Settings.

Scroll to the bottom
At the bottom of Account Settings, tap Delete Account.

Follow the prompts
Confirm when Hinge asks. That closes the account.
Watch out for
- Uninstalling or deleting the Hinge app from your phone doesn't close your account. You have to use Delete Account.
- If you paid through Hinge's own payment system, deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately and you lose any remaining benefits.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing period, so check where you were billed.

If you already removed the app
Hinge says uninstalling doesn't close your account. If you can't get back into the app, contact Hinge's Support Team through the help center.
What stays out there
Deleting your Hinge account stops new activity on Hinge. It doesn't reach copies of your details that other companies hold. A dating profile often carries a first name, photos, an employer and a city, and people-search sites or search results can hold copies of that.
