Serus is a privacy company with paid tools to find and remove your personal data. This guide shows the free way to do it yourself.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open UNiDAYS support

Go to the UNiDAYS support pages and open the My account section.

  2. 2

Choose "How do I delete my account?"

UNiDAYS answers this question with two links: one to its Privacy Policy and one to a Delete account form.

  3. 3

Fill in the Delete account form

Use the Delete account form from that answer to send the request.

  4. 4

Read the deletion section of the Privacy Policy

The UNiDAYS Privacy Policy explains how UNiDAYS handles privacy rights requests and how long it keeps personal data. Read both sections before you send the request.

  5. 5

Watch for an email from UNiDAYS

UNiDAYS support replies from help@myunidays.com. Check your spam folder if you don't see anything.

Watch out for

  • UNiDAYS's support answer sends you to a Delete account form and its Privacy Policy rather than describing a button in your account settings.
  • UNiDAYS says it keeps biometric data from student verification for 13 months from collection, then deletes it.
  • UNiDAYS's data controller depends on where you live: Myunidays Limited for the UK and EEA, Unidays Inc. for the US and Canada. The form and your rights can differ by region.
  • You lose your student verification and discount access once the account is gone.

What stays out there

Deleting an account stops new data collection at that one company. It doesn't touch copies that data brokers, people-search sites and old search results already hold, such as a public profile that scrapers picked up or a name and email that ended up in a marketing list. Serus finds where your details are listed and removes them. You can run a free scan to see what's out there.

Frequently asked

Can I just unsubscribe from UNiDAYS emails instead?

Yes. UNiDAYS support has a separate answer for subscribing and unsubscribing from emails, which keeps your account but stops the emails.

Does UNiDAYS sell my data?

Its Privacy Policy says UNiDAYS does not sell your personal data.

How do I see what data UNiDAYS holds on me?

UNiDAYS support has an answer titled "How can I access the data that you have for me?". Use it before you delete if you want a copy.
