Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your profile doesn't cancel a premium subscription. It's tied to the Apple ID or Google Play account used to buy it, so cancel it there.

On Android, open your profile and go to Settings. On iPhone, go to Settings.

On Android, choose Deactivate, then Delete Account. On iPhone, scroll to the bottom and choose Delete Profile.

You may be asked to type DELETE in the app. If you signed up with an email and password, you'll also need to verify your email address.
Watch out for
- Deleting a profile is permanent. Grindr says it can't be recovered.
- Deleting the app only removes the software. Your profile and data stay on Grindr's servers until you delete the profile.
- Subscriptions bill through Apple or Google, so deleting the profile doesn't stop them.
- Deleting content from your device doesn't remove it from the servers. Delete the profile for that.
