In WeChat go to Me > Settings > Account Security > WeChat Security Center > Safety Tools > Account Cancellation and follow the prompts. You're logged out. Don't log in again for 15 days, or the request is cancelled.

Unlink your phone number, Facebook account and email
WeChat's help center says to unlink these before you run the deletion.

Open Account Security
In WeChat go to Me > Settings > Account Security.

Open the WeChat Security Center
Tap WeChat Security Center, then Safety Tools.

Choose Account Cancellation
Tap Account Cancellation and follow the on-screen prompts. If the app shows Unable to Cancel, read the listed reasons, fix them and try again.

Stay logged out for 15 days
WeChat logs you out when you submit the request. After 15 days the account and its information are permanently removed.
Watch out for
- Logging back in within 15 days cancels the deletion request.
- After the 15 days the account can't be recovered, and the WeChat ID can't be reused.
- WeChat says aggregated registration data may be kept for spam prevention and system security.
- Menu names can differ by app version and region.
What stays out there
Deleting your WeChat account ends your profile there. It doesn't reach copies of your name, number or photos that other sites already hold, or what people saved from your chats.
If your phone number or email sits on people-search sites or in old search results, those listings stay until someone asks each site to remove them.
