Open your Kijiji profile, go to Manage Account, choose Request Account Deletion, confirm, and enter your password. Deletion is permanent and can take up to 30 days. You can also ask by email from the address tied to the account.

Step by step

Open your profile
Sign in to Kijiji in the app or on the site and open your profile.

Go to Manage Account
Select Manage Account.

Choose Request Account Deletion
Select Request Account Deletion.

Confirm and enter your password
Confirm that you want to delete the account, then enter your password. Kijiji says deletion is permanent and can't be reversed.

Wait for the deletion to process
Kijiji says processing can take up to 30 days. During that time you can't log in or reuse the email address.
Watch out for
- Deletion is permanent. Kijiji can't bring the account back afterwards.
- Deletion removes your profile, messages, ads and reviews from public areas of the site.
- Kijiji may keep some data where the law requires it or to prevent fraud.
- While the request is processing, you can't log in or use the same email address for a new account.
- Save anything you need first, such as photos from your ads or messages with buyers.

Send a deletion request from the email address tied to the account. Kijiji asks you to verify the account and whether you want all your data removed.

Kijiji's privacy policy also says you can send a request to the Support Inbox and select the Privacy - Delete Information option.
What stays out there
Deleting your Kijiji account stops new data piling up at Kijiji. It doesn't reach copies that already moved elsewhere. A phone number or name from an old ad may have been scraped by people-search sites and caller-ID databases, and cached search results can show an ad long after it's gone.
