Spend Coins and cancel subscriptions
Wattpad says that if you have purchased Coins or an active subscription, you need to spend the Coins and cancel the subscription before you close the account.

Open Settings
Log in on the website, click your username at the top right, then click Settings.

Open the Account section and scroll down.

Fill in the required info, confirm, and enter your password to finish.
Watch out for
- Wattpad calls it closing, not deleting. Logging back in reopens the account.
- Your username is gone for good. Nobody else can use it, and you can't get it back.
- Wattpad says it keeps your data for about 6 months after closing, then purges the account permanently, unless you have an active subscription or Coins.
- You must be able to log in to close the account this way.
