Settle open orders and balances
Shopee's Malaysia help page says requests can be rejected over orders in delivery, returns or refunds in progress, unpaid SPayLater bills, and unsettled ShopeePay transactions. Withdraw your full ShopeePay balance, including bonus and refund sub-wallets.

Open your settings in the app
In the Shopee app, tap the Me tab, then the gear icon.

Choose Request Account Deletion
Tap Request Account Deletion and confirm with OK.

Verify with the SMS code
Enter the SMS verification code Shopee sends you, then tap Next.

Give a reason and submit
Pick a reason, enter your email address, tick the Terms & Conditions box and submit the request.
Watch out for
- Deletion is only available in the app, not on the website.
- Shopee says deletion is permanent: you lose your login, your order history and your chats.
- A request can be rejected until open orders and wallet balances are settled.
- A ShopeePay wallet can't be closed on its own, and an affiliate account can't be deleted separately. Both go with the main account.
- Menu labels and wording differ slightly by country, so check your region's Shopee help page.

What stays out there
Deleting your Shopee account stops new data collection there. It doesn't reach copies that data brokers and people-search sites already hold, or old search results that mention you. If your name, phone number or email was public on Shopee or linked to it, those details may sit on other sites you never signed up for.
