In Taimi, go to your Profile, open Settings, scroll to the Account section, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete Account again at the bottom. Deletion is irreversible. Cancel any paid subscription through Apple or Google separately.

Step by step

Open your profile settings
In the Taimi app, go to your Profile and open Settings. On some versions the Settings icon is in the top-right corner.

Find the Account section
Scroll down to the Account section.

Tap Delete Account
Tap Delete Account, then tap Delete Account again at the bottom to confirm.

Cancel your subscription
If you pay for Taimi, cancel through Apple or Google, depending on your phone. Deleting the account doesn't cancel the subscription for you.
Watch out for
- Deleting your profile is irreversible. Taimi's help article says your profile and data are permanently deleted from its system.
- Freezing or deactivating the app account does not count as deletion under Taimi's privacy policy.
- Taimi's privacy policy says data is generally erased or anonymised within 7 calendar days after deletion, but some items, such as subscription data and support messages, can be kept for up to 5 years.
- The in-app menu can differ by app version, so follow the labels on your screen.

Hide your profile instead
The same menu has Enable Stealth Mode, which hides your account without deleting it. Taimi says your conversations, matches and cards are saved, and you can undo it later from the Taimi Protect menu.

Ask support to delete it
For data deletion requests you can email support@taimi.com, or use the Live Support chat in the app. Taimi's help centre also links a request form.
What stays out there
Deleting your Taimi profile removes it from Taimi. A dating profile can reveal sensitive things about a person, and if you used the same photo, username or phone number elsewhere, other sites may still link them to you.
