How to close your Raiz account
In the Raiz app, go to My settings > Support > Close account. Uninstalling the app doesn't close your account or cancel scheduled transactions. If you can't use the app, ask Raiz customer support to close it. Asking for your personal information to be deleted is a separate request.

Withdraw your money
Raiz says you can withdraw your money any time through the app. The amount you receive can differ from the last value shown in the app because of market movements and operational requirements.

Open My settings
In the Raiz app, open My settings.

Go to Support
Tap Support.

Tap Close account
Tap Close account and follow the prompts. This route is for Australian accounts.
Watch out for
- Uninstalling the app does not close your investment account or cancel pending or scheduled transactions.
- Closing the account and deleting your personal information are two requests. Raiz's privacy policy says to email support@raizinvest.com.au to have your personal information deleted, and that deleting some or all of it may limit its ability to provide services.
- The in-app path comes from an older Raiz FAQ page, so the menu names can differ by app version.
- Because Raiz is an investment service, some records may need to be kept after closure. Ask support what applies to you.

Ask customer support
If you can't use the app or website, ask Raiz customer support to close the account. Raiz says this isn't automatic for your security and that it replies to the first request within 3 business days. Support is on 1300 75 47 48 or support@raizinvest.com.au, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm Sydney time.

Raiz Super is a different product with its own support pages, so use those for a super account.
What stays out there
Closing your Raiz account ends the account. It doesn't reach copies of your name, address and phone number held by data brokers and people-search sites, and a financial app is a common source for the email and number that end up in marketing lists.
