Unlink or delete BOOTH first
If your pixiv account is registered with BOOTH, unlink or delete the BOOTH account before you leave pixiv. pixiv's help center also says FANBOX and Pastela use can stop you from leaving.

Cancel pixiv Premium if you pay through an app store
Closing your account cancels the Premium contract at the same time, but a subscription bought through an app store doesn't end on its own. Cancel it in the store.

Open the Leave pixiv page in your browser
pixiv tells you to delete the account permanently from the "Leave pixiv" page. Sign in and follow the prompts.

Confirm the deletion
Read what will be lost, then confirm. Deleted data, including your works and bookmarks, can't be recovered.

Wait about 2 weeks
pixiv says deletion takes about 2 weeks. During that time you can't register a new account with the same email address.
Watch out for
- Deletion is permanent: works and bookmarks can't be restored.
- The same email address can't be used for a new pixiv account for about 2 weeks.
- Leaving pixiv Sketch doesn't affect your pixiv account. Sketch is a separate service.
- BOOTH, FANBOX or Pastela use can block the deletion until you unlink or close them.

Delete from the pixiv app
On iOS and Android, go to My Page > About this app > Leave and delete your account. If you uninstalled the app, use the browser route above.
What stays out there
Closing your pixiv account stops new data from piling up at that one company. It doesn't reach copies that people-search sites and data brokers already hold, or old search results that point to them. A username or artist name you used on pixiv may also appear on other sites and in search results.
